Valinda Brock

Valinda Dean Brock is currently a missionary / teacher of the word of God in NC. Her greatest passion is Serving God through getting to know people, finding where they are spiritually, helping them know Christ, teaching them to walk with Him through the “real stuff” in life, serve Him and others. Her Ministries include speaking at Retreats and Conferences, Mentoring/Discipling Women, Teaching Bible Studies & Biblical Counseling. She started & leads a ministry to widows, and serves the Body of Christ at her church and in her broader community. She is also a writer, currently engaged in writing a book on “wisdom gained” over 70+ years.

Valinda was married for 53 years to Terry L. Brock, the greatest love of her life after Christ. She has 2 adult children, daughter Tracey in TX and son Kevin in NC, and her beloved two grandchildren, Christian & Emma.

During their 25 year business careers, they had served avocationally as Founders & Speakers for Christian Marriage Ministries for 10 years. Through that, and their involvement in missions through their church, God birthed in them a passion for helping people to know & grow in Christ, and for their serving Him in a more intentional way.
God opened the doors for that in 1992, shortly after leaving the business world.
Terry and Valinda became “2nd Career Missionaries” or “Finishers”.
They served on the Mission Field both nationally & internationally, including Russia, Ukraine, South America & India. Their mission work included serving indigenous pastors & church leaders with training in Reproducible Evangelism & Discipleship processes, Leadership Training, Outreach Strategies and Freedom In Christ. They worked in numerous countries across the globe through the years. In between trips,  they ministered through a large Street Mission in urban Austin, Texas.
Following life-changing surgery for Terry in 2009, his stamina was seriously limited, and in 2017 they “retired” to their home state of NC. In 2020 Terry completed his work on Earth. Since then Valinda continues “run the race” toward the greater goal because “The Best Truly Is Yet To Come!”
