Michael and Alecia have been serving as missionaries since God called them into full-time ministry to marriages and families in 2008. They have since worked with several ministries and numerous missionaries to strengthen communications, enhance discipleship efforts, and develop resources for ministry. Michael and Alecia have been married since June of 1995 and have eight beautiful children. Two of their children are by birth, and six were added to their family through adoption. The Corbin family lived in Honduras from 2015 to 2021, where they began their missionary coaching and training ministry, aided in several discipleship and community development efforts, and served the children, youth, and marriages of missionary families. God called them back to the U.S. in 2021 to better care for their children and to begin a new work of revitalizing local churches.
The vision that God has given Michael and Alecia is to further the Great Commission by partnering with churches, missionaries, and para-church organizations, both stateside and internationally, to prayerfully assess and improve overall ministry function and to develop potential for increasing outreach. They assist churches in examining existing personnel structures, facilities, and curriculums and present options for increased effectiveness in making disciples, including outreach and evangelism. Michael and Alecia provide churches and other ministries with creative resources, such as graphic design, brand establishment, and other marketing and communications tools. They also coach both foreign and domestic missionaries in resource development, cultural transitions, and ministry planning and implementation, and they work to connect the people and resources of American churches with missionaries and ministries in other countries.
Michael is ordained with Commission Ministers Network.
