Matias S. Angiwan III is a Filipino Pastor born to Christian parents Evelyn Santos Angiwan, a teacher, and Matias C. Angiwan Jr, a lawyer/pastor. He decided to heed the call for pastoral ministry and entered Febias College of Bible in Valenzuela City, Philippines where he finished the Basic Bible Course in 2013 and graduated Bachelor of Theology in 2016. During his ministry training, he served as youth pastor to several churches including the United Church of Polo, Family Christian Church of Pagsanjan and Jesus the Bread of Life Christian Church, Batangas from 2012-2015. He pursued further studies in Silliman University where he obtained several units for Master of Divinity, Major in Biblical Studies.
Thereafter, he returned to his hometown and served as Associate Pastor to the United Church of Christ in the Philippines, Baguio City from 2018-2022 and as School Chaplain of the Baguio Educational Center from 2018-2020.
At present, he serves the Lord as a volunteer Pastor in The New Beginnings Evangelical Church (tNBEC), Baguio City, where he disciples young men and trains musicians in the worship team. He also serves the Lord through preaching, performing vigil services and officiating wedding ceremonies to name a few. He is also presently affiliated with the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) of the City of Baguio, non-government organization that aims to empower the youth and serve the community through various projects and outreach activities.
He lives in La Trinidad, Benguet, Philippines with his loving wife, Andrienne and their one year old baby girl, Galilee Grace.
