Estuardo & Elizabeth Berberian-Perez

Born with a missionary legacy the question wasn’t if I was to serve but when, where, and how.

Since childhood I had a desire to be a teacher and was always involved in church Sunday School, youth group discipleship, street evangelism, youth camps, teaching Bible, etc. As I got older I chose a professional career that would expand my ministry opportunities as a teacher and education administrator. I discontinued my work for ten years, during which I had four children and focused on my family and homeschooling.

In 2006 I was informed that the Christian Academy of Guatemala was in need of a teacher, and I was in need of a school for my growing children. Since then I’ve served as kindergarten teacher (three years), kindergarten teacher and elementary coordinator (two years), full time elementary coordinator (four years), and currently as principal (three years).

My multicultural background, my years living in Guatemala and my educational background have enabled me to serve the C.A.G. community; and through this service to encourage both missionary families and missionary teachers to bring Christ to Guatemala.
