My name is Christian and my wife, Samantha and our 4 daughters, are First Nations Missionaries, serving the Chippewa and Cree Tribes on the Rocky Boy Reservation in Box Elder, Montana.
Years before meeting, both, Samantha and I served in youth and children’s ministry within our own churches. Once we married in 2015, we continued to serve in our home church together as youth leaders, and volunteering in nursery and children’s church when needed. Our hearts have always been to serve the body of Christ in any way we could to see the Gospel reach the hearts and lives around us. Fully surrendering to the Lord’s call for our family to obey the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20), and with the blessing of our pastors, we set out to train for missions at Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Tx at the beginning of 2021.
With our formal training finished at Christ For The Nations Institute, we are now joining with the Pastors of Living Water Assembly of God in Box Elder, Montana to serve as youth pastors to reach the Chippewa/Cree Tribe. We are starting a youth ministry which will be our primary focus, but we will also be serving in any area that is needed as well with children’s ministry and outreach.
This particular reservation is the smallest in the entire state of Montana and has a great need for the Gospel to reach them. The statistics of Native Indian children in this state that are in the foster care system due to parents on drugs or in jail is alarming. There are so many broken families and hurting hearts – our desire is to see them come to know Jesus and find their hope in Him. We desire to see this cycle of brokenness end by discipling this next generation of young people. We want to equip them to reach their own peers on the reservation, and to experience the blessing of wholeness in every area of their lives that can only come from living a life surrendered to Christ.
Our overall goal is to start a disciple making movement among the young people on the reservation and have it spread to all age groups. We want to make disciples, who make disciples, who make disciples, and so on until the Lord returns.
