Paul & MaryAnn Slayton live in Central Florida as of April, 2021, after serving Africans in southern Africa and elsewhere for over thirty years. They are settled in a community tailored to and with other former African missionaries. The world is coming more and more to all of us here in the U.S.A., including the Clermont/Orlando area where God has placed them.
They encourage their local church and other believers to engage their neighbors of other cultures and countries in true friendships and in social activities for the sake of Christ’s Kingdom.
MaryAnn serves as a chaplain for the residents of Africa Inland Mission’s retirement community, known as Media, in Minneola, Florida. She also uses her gifts and experience to mentor new missionaries and assist in member care.
Paul uses his mechanical abilities and interest in the flora and fauna to serve in areas of maintenance and grounds at Media. He also serves as a deacon at New Life Church.
Paul and MaryAnn have five children and sixteen grandchildren spread from coast to coast and overseas.
Paul & MaryAnn have partnered with Commission Ministers Network in order to raise funds that enable them to continue in ministry.
