I grew up in the U.S. Pacific Northwest and have a deep passion for the outdoors—and for following Jesus. My soon-to-be wife, Karín, is a missionary who has spent the past 11 years living and serving in Nepal.

Starting in the fall of 2025, we will begin a new season of ministry together, serving half the year in Nepal and the other half in Mongolia. Karín works to combat human trafficking through programs that empower girls and women, while also serving as a Children’s Church teacher in a local village church.

I will be joining and supporting her in these efforts, as well as stepping into my own areas of service. After moving to Asia and spending some time learning the local languages and cultures, I hope to become involved in discipling young men in a Nepali church in Kathmandu. I also plan to volunteer at a Christian elementary school in a village—teaching English, leading activities, and sharing Bible stories to help children grow in both their language skills and their faith. In addition, I’ll be helping Karín teach Children’s Church each week.

We are trusting God—through His Holy Spirit—to guide and reveal His plans for us as we serve Him together as a couple.

In Mongolia, Karín will be working with World Vision to develop programs that support children and families. As we settle in, we’ll be exploring where I might best serve. With a degree in health and safety, I expect to be involved in programs that serve children with disabilities and their families.
