After Hurricane Harvey, Ed Zieglar bought an old building on the beach and cleaned it up. When he saw a lot of churches were still not open after Hurricane Harvey, he put in chairs and offered it to the Presbyterians. They started holding Bible studies there. Since they didn’t meet in the morning, Ed started a non-denominational service there. With COVID-19 he now provides masks, hand sanitizers and provides social distancing.
This ministry has grown to include a Wednesday night Bible study and a ladies’ Tuesday morning Bible study.
Ed has also offered the building to a Jewish community to use for their worship.
