Chet and Katie have been serving in Ecuador full-time since 2003. Joined by their three kids, Tanner, Brooklin & Skyler, their ministry focus is on developing disciple-leaders, coming alongside leaders to accomplish what the Lord is calling them into through leadership development and discipleship.
The Williams family has served for 20 years in Ecuador; first to thirteen high-schoolers as dorm parents, followed by their ministry scattered over several provinces of the Amazon Basin amongst the Waodäni people, through the jungle town of Shell, in the coastal regions of Borbón, along the riverbanks of Rio Tiwæno and other indigenous jungle communities. Over the years, countless ministry partners have joined on Short-term teams serving alongside Chet and Katie all throughout Ecuador.
Jesus’ teaching on the vine and branches summarizes three most basic and important commitments in life: Commitment to Christ, to the body of Christ, and to the work of Christ in the world. As Chet and Katie continue in ministry in this new season as empty nesters, “God will let us know how we might join Him as we continue to commit our lives to Him serving in discipleship and leadership development.”
