Kaylee Russell

As I serve at Morning Glory Christian Academy as the Special Education Coordinator, I am deeply committed to reflecting God’s love through my work. My role involves setting up multi-tiered systems of support, catering to students with identified disabilities, and organizing small groups in classrooms. This approach ensures each child receives individual attention and care, mirroring the Christian ethos of compassion and inclusion.

Witnessing students flourish under these systems, overcoming challenges, and developing confidence, I see the hand of God at work. It’s not just about academic success; it’s about nurturing whole beings, created in the image of God. I believe every small step these children take is a testament to God’s grace and power.

In parallel, my husband and I are laying the foundations for KY Ministries, comprising two subdivisions: Harvest and KY Innovación. Harvest is close to my heart as it serves individuals with disabilities. This ministry is a living expression of Jesus’ teachings to care for the least of these (Matthew 25:40). Each life we touch through Harvest is a story of God’s love and compassion being made tangible.

KY Innovación, focusing on technology and music, is our way of harnessing modern tools for God’s glory. This ministry seeks to innovate in ways that resonate with today’s world while staying rooted in timeless biblical truths. Whether it’s through a worship song that moves the heart or technology that breaks barriers, we’re finding new ways to connect people to God.

The impact of these ministries is evident in the lives transformed – children who find a place of belonging, individuals with disabilities who discover their worth, and communities that are being knit closer through faith and innovation. Each testimony is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do and how God is using our efforts to further His kingdom.

In all of this, I see my work not just as a profession but as a calling. It’s about being the hands and feet of Jesus, bringing hope and light into the lives of those we serve. It’s a journey of faith, and every day, I’m grateful to be a part of God’s transformative work in this world.

I have a Ministerial Ordination with Commission Ministers Network.
