I, Aaron, am originally from Baguio City, Philippines, but I now serve in both the adult ministry and media ministry in Davao Evangelical Church. My parents, being missionaries to the locals, have been pivotal to the development of my desire to serve to the marginalized communities and to do cross-cultural missions.
Grace is also from the Philippines but she is a third-culture kid. Her parents have served as pastors and missionaries in Singapore, Israel, and are now serving here in Davao as well. Being part of intercultural communities has deepened her passion to serve as well.
Grace and I met in Singapore Bible College in 2019. We were amazed at our mutual passion for missions and serving, as well as our backgrounds in ministry. We got married here in Davao two years later. As a couple, we want to do our best to serve the Lord wherever he puts us. We want to use what the Lord has given us to be a blessing to those around us.
God-willing, we would like to serve in cross-cultural missions in the future. Now, in Davao, as we build our network and support group, we will focus on church ministry, while Grace volunteers as a high school Bible teacher in Faith International Academy.
