Krista Lunn

Born and raised in a missionary family, I’ve had the privilege of being on the front row and front lines of ministry for my entire life. I’ve had the opportunity to help my parents build churches from the ground up in Indonesia and in Hong Kong.

Currently, I am ministering in Hong Kong to youth and kids. I’m helping two different churches: in a Saturday service as their children’s pastor, and in a Sunday service as their youth pastor. In the Saturday church – although the students are all primarily Chinese-speakers, I minister to them in English. And the Sunday church is an English-speaking international service with people from many different nationalities.

I also run a Friday night youth service, MC for the adult service, and prepare and run the computers for the production team. I’ve led the programs department and multiple connect groups.

One of my favorite memories during Bible school was the first time I baptized a new convert. I was just 18 years old and was running a new connect group. A 16-year old atheist had been joining and asking questions, and eventually gave his life to Christ. At the time we were in Bali, Indonesia, and on Easter Sunday all the new believers went through the waters of baptism. The connect group leaders were empowered to do the baptizing, and I remember being in the water with my pastor-parents and other church leaders. It was a precious and surreal “family activity”. I’ve been baptizing and making disciples ever since.
