We were born in different countries. Blanca grew up in a catholic family in México and I in a Chilean evangelical one. In spite of we speak the same language, we have a lot of cultural differences: food, architecture and history are some of them.
We never expected God had a wonderful plan to us. Having the opportunity to meet one another when I went to México for receiving my training in college missions (1998-2005). In that time, Blanca was just a new believer and since then we have been working together -we got married in 2003. It has been a fabulous time, being that to share the gospel is the highest privilege that a Christian can have. In México, we learned to love God and to serve people. Preaching, disciplining and starting college Christian groups. In the same field, we had the responsibility to lead a local ministry. Experiencing that helped us to assume the National Ministry in Chile (2008-2013). Also, there God blessed us with Santiago, Agustín and Ana, our really active kids.
In the middle of our local work through CRU, we supported the ministry in almost all the Latin American countries. In the area of leadership development, as responsible of Biblical education. Blanca, has dedicated the last 8 years teaching our children, homeschooling them.
Being aware of the need that Christian churches have in our context of teachers and ministers with a strong theological foundation, after 20 years in the field. We decided to move to Brazil in 2016, place where I am serving in a Presbyterian church, meanwhile I am finishing my Bachelor at Seminário Martin Bucer and parallelly, my master’s in theology – ThM, at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary. Our desire is to pursuit the PhD and the pastorate to contribute with God’s Kingdom in Chile or in any place that God leads us.
Thanks for your partnership with us, by giving to our family and ministry.
Thanks for keeping us on the missions.
Thanks for being involved in God’s Kingdom.
