Homelessness is a pressing issue. Showers on Wheels is an initiative designed to cater to the homeless population in Houston by providing them with mobile facilities for their upkeep. This service will take place through use both in the city of Houston and the state of Texas, of repurposed RV’s which will be equipped with showers and toilet stalls. All the items required, including soap, shampoo, toothpaste and other toiletries, for the use of these mobile showers will also be provided. The vehicles will be located and operated near homeless shelters, as well as in locations that are densely populated by those who would benefit the most from the services, such as downtown Houston, Westpark, Rosenberg, and places where we are needed.
