My name is Alister Morrison. My wife is Julie and we have three children: Kenneth, Melanie and Karin. We serve the Lord in Chilean Patagonia, in the city of Punta Arenas.
In 2019 we created a non-profit organization called Fundación Aires de Vida, with the purpose of serving the community by providing access to horse-assisted therapies and outdoor activities. Our mission is to contribute to the physical, mental and spiritual health of children and adults, with a particular focus on horse-assisted therapies.
Our desire is to allow access to horse-assisted therapies to families regardless of their economic situation, and to be a space of support for those who serve the community (foster families, schools, welfare institutions, etc.).
We see our ministry as a means by which we can establish relationships with people in our community with whom we can share the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Now we serve around seventy families weekly, five of whom we are partially subsidizing. Our goal is to be able to grant scholarships to at least ten students starting from the second semester of 2022.
