Christina (better known as Chrissy), has been serving in missions for almost twenty years total, the majority of that time in Guatemala. She, her husband Nick, and her teammates Yoli de Navarro and Juan Carlos Borrayo hold after school Bible clubs for the children in different communities in San José Pinula, a suburb of the capital Guatemala City, and nearby villages. We give out birthday gifts to the children in attendance and also hold large events such as celebrating national child’s day, Mother’s day and an annual day camp. The kids range in ages from elementary to teenagers and a few younger ones as well. Chrissy and Nick are also teaching a monthly class at a local children’s home.
