The Bulletproof Family Man Cops’ Initiative
CJ and Lisa Ellis are passionately dedicated to strengthening marriages and families, with a special focus on law enforcement officers and Christian leaders. They offer coaching and mentoring to married Christian couples and provide support to men online through a membership platform called “Takin ‘Em With Me.” This platform empowers men to pursue their God-given purposes while bringing their families along on the journey.
A significant part of their ministry is the Bulletproof Family Man Cops’ Initiative. This initiative aims to enhance the mental well-being, marriages, and family lives of law enforcement officers. Recognizing the immense pressures faced by officers, the initiative seeks to create an environment where officers are encouraged to utilize resources that support their mental health and personal lives. Key components of the initiative include:
- Providing *CLEET-recognized marriage training for officers and their spouses.
- Conducting comprehensive research and collaboration with local law enforcement agencies to tailor solutions to their unique challenges.
- Offering chaplain services to foster trust and provide ongoing support within the law enforcement community.
With 34 years of marriage, six children, and five grandchildren (with hopes for many more), CJ and Lisa bring both personal and professional experience to their ministry. They have served as senior church leaders for over 31 years, with CJ also serving as senior pastor and lead chaplain for the law enforcement community in their city.
