I grew up with no father figure in my life. My dad was sentenced to prison throughout my entire life, until I was 25 years old. I became and alcoholic at the age of 18 to the age of 32. I eventually became homeless and would have seizures when I wouldn’t drink. My family eventually abandoned me and wanted no part of my life. I eventually heard of a place called Teen Challenge and decided to enroll. I knew nothing about the bible when I first started. After being there a month, I decided to give my life to Jesus. That night I surrendered, Sept. 19th, 2022, not knowing what happened, my body felt like it got hit by lightning. I would soon find out I got radically saved from not just alcohol, but all my addictions.

I work at Mt Hope Bible Camp doing the cooking and maintenance on the property year round. I am actively going to church twice a week. I go out with the church on the streets praying and spreading the gospel to the homeless, encouraging the lost and broken to seek the Lord to find their purpose in life. Now I have a home and my family back. Now Jesus is in every aspect of my whole life. Its been an amazing ride with the Lord. I am just so happy that I chose life over death. That is my testimony and I want to thank you for your time.
